You've seen it happen with agent Web sites, and you're seeing it happen - almost in real timie - with agent blogs.
"it" is the attack of the killer Web site / blog, the Web site / blog that is so bad, so truly awful, such a pile of random yapping and yammering trash that visitors flee in terror and resolve never to visit another agent site / blog.
The Web has been infested for so many years with so many junky agent sites that the professional agents who have great sites see the value of those sites radically diminished.
As an ActiveRain newbie looking about the landscape, I'm seeing far too much of what I see elsewhere - blogs that are polluting an enironment that has the potential to be a fabulous business-getting tool.
Read the typical agent self-description here, and read a random sampling of posts and you'll quickly see what I mean.
There's gold and wisdom here, but much noise and clutter. I'm hoping - but with little to go on so far - that real estate blogs don't suffer the fate of agent Web sites.
