This is a work of art for anyone looking to move to the area.  I have learned so much about New Orleans from following your terrific blog.  Moving to a whole new area can be so intimidating, but you've made your area sound like it has a lot of friendly things to do just waiting for a new resident to jump in and try.  You've got something for everyone!  Thank you for putting it all together.

Very nicely put together, Lisa! I really like the Fun and Activities section. This should attract a lot of attention from both locals and new residents.

LISA - You have done such a great job of showing us all the other side of New Orleans (real life, not just parties) over the course of time.  This relocation package is a culmination of all of the great information that you always provide.  Well done!

Lisa, I'd like to thank-you for a couple of reasons.  First, this was a call-to-action post for me. As an AR newbie I have been doing a lot of searching to find interesting blogs and ways that I could contribute.  Telling people about your community is definitely a contribution!  Second, I am planning a trip to NO next month and used some of your links to learn more about the City.

Erik, thank YOU for those kind words!  Are you coming for Jazz Fest?

03/13/2008 11:53 AM by Lisa Heindel, New Orleans West Bank Real Estate (Latter & Blum Inc. Realtors)

Lisa.  What a wonderful relo package for any one considering a move to New Orleans!  We considered a move there in 2001 and do you know what we had to do?  DRIVE all the way from Iowa and check it out in person!  Dining at Emeril's almost did it, but in the end, we moved to Virginia.

03/13/2008 12:22 PM by Natalie Langford, Winchester, VA Real Estate (Realty Direct of Shenandoah Valley)

Natalie, Virginia is a beautiful state, but I really love it here!  You must come back for another visit soon :)

Lisa,  I think that I will actually be in NO for Jazz fest.  I didn't know anything about it until after we had scheduled our flights, but we are looking forward to be there then.

03/13/2008 11:44 PM by Erik Hitzelberger, --Louisville-Bullitt County Real Estate (RE/MAX Alliance)

Deb, you did quite well yourself!  Thanks for stopping by :)

Erik, you will LOVE Jazz Fest.  Even after all of these years, the locals still go and enjoy it.  Bring sunscreen, a hat and come hungry :)
