Last night I had the great pleasure of attending a dinner held at the Seven Stars Pepper Szechwan Restaurant at 1207 S, Jackson St. in Seattle's International District. The owner Ms. Li Hong, the mother of Ms. China Town winner Ni Jiang, hosted the dinner.  My wife and I have been friends with the family for many years (they were friends even in China), and I've known Ni since she was just eleven years old.

Two weeks ago in San Francisco, Ni made us all very proud when she went there representing Seattle's own Chinese community, and she walked away with the crown with ease.

Ni Jiang is currently enrolled at the University of Washington and will now be competing in the Ms. Hong Kong pageant one year from now. We're very proud of the little girl that grew into a beautiful woman, with poise, dignity, and honor.

Next time you find yourself in the international district, I can personally assure you will not find more authentic Chinese food than the Seven Stars Pepper Restaurant. You may even get to meet Ms. China Town USA.

Thank you for sharing this, Michael.  May I say that you are very endearing when speaking of your wife.  I love it when a man's love for his wife shows, and you so admire and enjoy who she is.  Though I have never met your wife, I feel as if I know and like her.  It's a rare and wonderful thing to see her in your eyes.

Thanks Michael,

What an honor for her.  I go to the international district to eat sometimes and have a hard time deciding where to eat.  I will try Seven Stars Pepper next time --- does the seven stars mean it is that spicy?

Indeed it does, Food from that region in China is known for it's spicy flavor, and I love it. You can click on that link an read the review.

They do have dishes for those that are spice challenged, you just have to let them know.

Micahel: I'm a big fan of all things asian after living over there for six years. I wish we had a stronger asian culture here in iowa, but it is growing.

Isn't it sad what some have to do to advertise their sleazy products? I strongly recommend no one ever do business with scam artist Fionnula.

For those with REALTOR designations ...

Did NAR (National Association of Realtors) disclose to you before you took the class that you would need to pay them every year to rent your designation?

Did NAR disclose the additional annual fee when they advertised this class?

Did NAR disclose to you how much the annual renewal fee would be before you took the class?

We are talking ethics here, are we not?

No one I know with a designation knew about these extra fees. Why is that?

Why would NAR fail to disclose annual fees, as they advertise these designations? Could it be becuase you would not take their classes?

Please email me with your NAR concerns:        Seattlebroker1@aol.com

Thanks!
