If your clients are planning on selling their home, they may be considering some renovations before putting it on the market.  Following are numbers showing what Texas sellers do before listing their house.

• 50% of sellers in Texas started a home improvement project within three months of listing their home.
• $2,470: The Median amount of money people spent on home improvement projects
• $990: Median amount of money spent on home improvements by sellers of homes priced under $100,000
• $3,640: Median amount of money spent on home improvement projects by sellers of homes priced between $300,000 - $499,999
• $20,690: Median amount of money spent on home improvement projects by sellers of homes priced $500,000 or more
