How important are you to your brokerage? Does the brokerage get incoming telephone calls from potential buyers requesting information about your listing (other than setting showings, this is how many brokerages operate)? Are you losing calls because they are coming to someone who doesn't know about (or could care less about) your listing? There's a different, better way - our company makes certain the only telephone number on your sign as an agent is YOUR telephone number - so outside of setting showings, YOU get all the inquiries on your listings!

What about today's up-and-down market? How in the world do you interpret the sales data from your MLS - pen and paper, a spreadsheet, not at all? With our company, you are provided (free of charge) an electronic, compiled from the MLS, easy-to-interpret set of graphs that show historical data on sales. Now, you can help your buyers and sellers make the right decision. No more fumbling in front of those people who hold your precious income in their hands!

Thanks for the post Clyde. I agree with you in regards to placing your number on the sale sign. I have no problem paying a little extra to have my info placed on the sign rather than using free signs. My signs pay for them self in the end; time and time again. Thanks again.

Wish I could make the move to a Broker that gets it, in a state that lets the Broker get it.

In GA the Brokers Name and Number must be of equal size and style as the agents name on all signs and marketing material. What happens buyers think I call the company because I don't want to be "sold to" by the agent. If your at the wrong company you will never see the call.

Being a Real Living agent myself we know the importance of Agent Centric...all leads go to the listing agent and not another agent doing desk duty landing your buyer calls.  The RL concept works.  Afterall for a company to be in 22 states after only about 5 years or so....somethings being done right.

Jim and Maria - the nice thing is, agents don't pay extra to have their number on the sign with Real Living. Nowhere on the sign does the brokerage phone number show - so agents get all the calls! MLS does list the "show desk" number for setting showings, but our show desk people do not discuss the home or buying/selling. Thanks for your response!

Eric, on our signs the broker name is shown larger than the agent name, but with no number. The agent name/number can be on the sign panel or the sign rider. Per Ohio license law, we do have the brokerage name more obvious than the agent name. Thanks for stopping in!

Joyce and Terry, you are so right! And, you have reaped the success of the Agent-Centric philosophy. Thanks for your comments!

Hi Clyde! Welcome to Active Rain! I researched several brokerages before I signed on, and my decision became very easy once I interviewed Real Living . With the agent-centric philosophy at the core of RL's business model, it was a no-brainer! AND, the tools RL provides were the icing on the cake!

As for the company's growth, its simply impressive. I am very proud to share our stats with clients, potential clients, fellow Realtors, friends, family, and anyone else who will listen. It is very exciting and rewarding to be a part of such an innovative and forward thinking firm.

Clyde,

so darn happy to hear from you!  As you know, and I'll tell everyone out there, I am Real Living's loudest cheerleader!  Yes, I tried one other company before I came to Real Living, and Clyde, you were the reason I did - honesty, integrity and the right "fit".  This company is phenomenal, and what RL can do for the agents is unlimited!  If anyone out there in the Ohio market wants any info, don't hesitate to contact Clyde or any one of the Real Living agents.  Agent centric is what we are all about, from only the listing agent's phone number on their listing as well as their sign, to the agent's business center which focuses on the agent and how we set up and work our business - A to Z!   The support for each other is what truly blows me away - we really are a very large family.  There are agents in this company that I consider some of my dearest friends and that I respect - not easy to find these days, eh?  I think that may be why our company is so sucessful - innovation doesn't just mean business, it means new ways of doing and being, and truly good realtors are only as good as the people around them.....if you want a really good idea of what we are, go out and get Kaira Rouda's new book - "Real You Incorporated"....

Jim, thanks for the welcome! Knock 'em dead down there in Florida!

Amy, good move in joining Real Living and thanks for the accolades!

Lorna, we know you are and have been such a great cheerleader for Real Living - continued success!

Kaira's book "Real You, Incorporated" truly is about Kaira and the company she created - Real Living, based in Columbus, Ohio. The tests she faced, the successes ultimately experienced and the excitement and challenges going forward make the book a real testament to Kaira's drive and determination while remaining very human. Our agents are trained to understand how to know themselves and others so they can relate or at least understand their buyers and sellers.

As always, if anyone has questions or comments, I will be happy to talk with them.
