Snowbanks everywhere! Is it affecting the real estate market?

The last few years we've had some low snowfall winters. Listing and showing properties was relatively hassle free as far as snowbanks. Not this year. Five, six, seven, eight foot banks of snow pushed up by armies of street plows have buried lawn signs. Streets and driveways in some subdivisions are canyons with high white sides.

Well the numbers are in and sales are down for the first time in years.

Is it the sign of a developing trend or is it only this snowy winter covering the for sale signs?

Larry - We don't have it as bad here but 2 or 3 storms a week it seems! Snowplowing budgets are shot for the city and my patience is wearing thin. Luckily my renovations are coming along with no peskie buyers to deal with.Ha  I think i'm writing on a little land deal tomorrow.
