5 ways to increase your contact list

By
Real Estate Agent with Sassone Realty

I don't believe any of us feel our contact lists and sphere is satisfactory, to generate all the business we desire. While reviewing my business plan and sales goal for this year, I realized increasing my contact list had fallen to the wayside. To  get myself on track I decided to set up a 5 step program to increase my contacts and lead generation.

1. Get a business card from every new person I meet (or some other contact info)

2. Use each contact as an opportunity to get a referral.

3. Develop, and persist to get info from casual customer calls on listings

4. Use contact/sphere lists and target them for specific properties or information relative to them.

5. Create partnerships with Realtors for referrals.

I know that if I do one of these good I'm sure to get several sales this year from my efforts. By bundling  all of them together, I will become crazed with an abundance of qualified opportunities. Our success is all about massaging our contacts, and Clients, to be... "Their ultimate Real Estate resource"

Great ideas.  Seems we meet many people everyday thay could turn into referrals and don't even realize it.  The more hands we shake the better our chances of a referral.

Great 5 step program!  It's amazing how much we know about generating solid leads, yet how strangely easy it is to get sidetracked by other business needs.  If you are diligent in following your plan, you will undoubtably reap the rewards.  Best of luck!

RAY - Great ideas, we should always be working on developing and expanding our contact lists. I also like Leo's idea about keeping notes on what you talked about.
