A Snowbird is a Person usually Retired who Travels South for the Warmer Winter climates and returns North for the Milder Summer temperatures...

I was first licensed in RE in 1977, also have my Life, Health, Property & Causualty Licenses, Series 6 & 63 as a Registered Rep for NASD and worked for a full service Brokerage. Took the first class (101) towards my CCIM Designation and worked residential, developments and eventually commercial, I have too many licenses but did very well so I should be qualified to answer a variety of questions regarding the Real Estate Market, Lending, Insurance, Pension Plans Etc...

That said, I lived in the Pacific NW most my life, I had previously broke my back in 1996 and have permanent leg/nerve/spinal damage and needed warmer weather to move around without too much pain. I also need to keep my mind busy so my two sons helped design a website as a hooby for me and I moved to Arizona for the winters, back north for the summers when the "Sun Comes Out" and becoming a Snowbird myself....

Demographics are somewhat tough, but it seems most Pacific NW Snowbirds head towards S. California such as Palm Desert, Hemet & Arizona from Parker to Yuma "Foothills" being a well known Snowbird Destination as well as those Snowbirds in Sun City. The Mid-West Snowbirds Seem to head towards the Texas area & Missouri, whle the Eastern Snowbirds Find S.Carolina, Georgia, Gulf Coast & Florida to be their favorite locations.

I'm now retired as a Snowbird and own a handfull of properties I have invested in over the years with my wife of 30+ years and my two boys now becomming successful on their own, both were property owners by 20 years old. That  hobby Snowbird website they started for me and now run themselves with my occaisional advisng has become very popular. It's a Market that most Realtors don't realize and a Tremendous Market at that with all the baby-boomers coming of age.... I prefer using "Google", but try any search engine with keywords like: RV Property - RV Real Estate - Snowbird - RV Events - Snowbird Realtors -  RV Lots for sale - RV Events - Snowbird Real Estate - Snowbird Property, there's many out there for the Snowbird Specialist...
