No Snow - But the Real Estate Market is Blinding!
What a whirlwind Real Estate Market for the month of January. Ed White, Manager of the Coldwell Banker Pascack Valley, announced 49 transactions for the month (not including rentals), quite a way to begin the New Year of 2007!
I personally had 6 sales in January, and just put two sales together (one my listing, one my sale) today, February 1, 2007. This is a bizarre but wonderful way to begin 2007.
For those newspaper editors who continue to talk about the "down market", I can assure them that the Real Estate Market is alive and well in the Pascack Valley of Bergen County New Jersey. Maybe they should reevaluate their stance and notice what is actually happening in the market, rather than reacting retrospectively to what has already taken place.
My website, SusanLaskinRealtor.com hit a new high..over 20,000 hits for the past week. Obviously, there are folks out there who are interested in purchasing homes, and are actively pursing their goals and dreams.
I do believe, fellow Realtors, that we are in for quite a ride. Fasten your seatbelts..looks like we'll be working hard both this Winter and Spring to help our clients in their quest to buy and sell Real Estate.
This is what we all love to do best, which is why we are in this business. (otherwise, why would we be working such crazy hours!) We all love putting people and houses together!
I wish you all well in what appears to be a significant changing of the tides.
