3 Comments on FInding Foreclosures in the Northern Virginia MLS
We are having the same search problems in Maryland. We distribute a list of REO homes for Montgomery County and one for Frederick County. There does not appear to be an easy way to identify the REO homes.
Over time, we have noted the names of the listing agents that have listed REO properties and we search by their names as well.
The quick, but incomplete, search that we use is to pull up the properties by contract addendum using the RELO and Bank Owned addendum.
It would be nice if there were uniform requirements on MRIS that would help agents do quick searches for lender owned homes.
Fortunately this problem has now been resolved with the addition of the foreclosure search field in the MLS.
