After 10 months as a Real Estate agent, I have finally taken the advice of my broker. Just kidding...I always do what he tells me :) I decided to put decals or stickers on my back glass to advertise my website and where I work. I was at first a little apprehensive because I LOVE my car...It's one I've always wanted and I didn't want to mar it with anything. (Red Dodge Charger) I do have a small decal on the corner of the back glass that is in support of my son who plays football for Searcy. But that is my son whom I LOVE more than my car :)... Anyway, back to the point of this blog. My broker helped me pick out a layout of what it should say, etc. Then I had it done. Let me tell you, I have more people wave at me and honk! I thought everyone knew that was me in that car! I have had a lot of compliments and actually have had a call or two from it.
On the flip side...Our profession is one that promotes honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. As a buyer and seller...I looked for those qualities in my agent. Now as an agent people are looking to me to have these qualities...they are watching me. My mother has always said that you should be careful what you do, where you go, and who you are with because someone is always watching you and you are giving them a view into who you are by what you do. Now people are watching me even closer since they know who I am and what I drive. So everywhere I go and how I treat people on the road is being watched. Advertising on your car is a cure for Road Rage!
