The resurrection of our Jesus Christ makes true, triumphant peace available.

" I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart i have overcome the world. JOHN 6:33

The peace that is in Jesus Christ is an overcoming peace, overcoming even sin and death.

But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him ACTS 2:24

 Through Jesus conquest and victory over sin and death we are able to enjoy the peace of God.

Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you.I PETER 1: 3-4

So when the world has got you discouraged and you think the Lord my have given you more than you can handle. Look towrds Him and be encouraged that the Lord Jesus has already ensured your victory and justification by His death and resurrection.

Thanks again Hugh for another great inspirational post.  As the Word tells us that "he will keep us in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.  He will give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.  And we have to learn to look to the hills from whence cometh our help.  Our help comes from our Heavenly Father.  - - Keep up the great posts.

Thanks for the daily inspiration, Hugh.  I visited and had lunch with a friend and "sister in Christ" today, and the subject of our conversation was the peace we find in and through Jesus.  Always good to hear and remember.  What comfort!  God Bless, Chris

Hugh, again, AMEN!!!  I truly get inspired by the things God is having you share with all of us.  I too, write mostly for myself.  The things I write are things God is showing me, or allowing me to go through, for His glory, and to show my how to be humble, before Him and others.  We cannot relate with everyone, but God will lead the ones He wants us to share with and encourage.  You are one that encourages me.  God has raised in you and great man for Him.  Glory to our King.
