As a resident of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, I know what it is like to live here and to deal with our "terrible traffic". I decided to go out this morning and shoot some video footage of our "terrible traffic" so you can see for yourself that it really IS NOT AS BAD AS MANY LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE.
Why are there a lot of vehicles going in and out of Ewa Beach each day? Because all of these residents that live here know what it is like to get a quality newer house in a very affordable area, near beaches and shopping, most with central air conditioning on the dry side of the island (where it doesnt rain much) and all they have to do is deal with a little bit of traffic.
This first clip was shot on March 5, 2008 at 7:00 am. It shows the traffic on Ft. Weaver Road going out of Ewa Beach.
