Why are some realtors more concerned about text messages than driving. I came to a red light on a 4 lane highway yesterday, one car in each lane in front of me. When the light turned green, neither vehicle moved (they were both full sized SUV's). I hit my horn one time, nothing happened, after a few seconds, I hit the horn again, for a long time. Finally both vehicles moved as the
light was turning red. I can only imagine what the people behind me were doing. Since my car was much faster than either of the SUV's I passed them as soon as possible. Looking at the one of the drivers as I passed, I noticed that it was one of the local realtors. And she appeared to be very busy sending a text message on a blackberry. The other vehicle's driver was not someone I know, but they were also holding something that looking like a blackberry in one hand and trying to drive with the other. Give it a break.
That's not all, I'm driving down I-65 in the Franklin area this afternoon, and the left lane is moving very slow. Being the impatient driver that I am, I moved over to the right two lanes, and eventually made my way past the vehicle slowing down traffic. You can probably guess that I recognized another realtor driving 10 mph slower than the speed limit as cars were passing on the right hand side. I don't know why she was driving slow, but move over and let people pass. Stop communication for a few minutes,
As I said in one of my previous post about testing while driving, this is dangerous or rude. Niether is good for business.
If you can't tell, I'm becoming very annoyed at this behavior.

This is exactly why I tried www.jott.com. I think I'm their biggest fan right now because I can leave text by speaking into the phone. No more embarrassing horns honking at me while I text my son frantically to let the dog out.
what will we be doing at a red light next, filling out contracts?
