Charlotte Appreciation Report and Homes for Sale in the following South Charlotte Communities: Providence Plantation, Beverly Crest, Hembstead, Berkeley, Providence Country Club, Ballantyne Country Club

These south Charlotte neighborhoods are popular “move to” locations and begin in the south about Pineville-Matthews road and make their way further south, the only exception is Beverly Crest which is just North of Rt 51, Pineville-Matthews Road. They are all popular with folks moving to Charlotte- you’ll find many transplanted New Yorkers, Californians, mid-westerners, and Floridians, and about 30 other states… The public high schools here are the well regarded Providence High School and Ardrey Kell High School. Check their test scores here. All appreciation numbers were calculated as follows: determine the average cost per square foot of sold properties for the last 12 months from the Carolina MLS, and compare it to the sold data of the prior 3 years. Berkely is a wonderful neighborhood, old enough where some of the homes have replaced or updated kitchens and baths– and some haven’t, thus the mixed performance when looking at average appreciation rates. Schools here are some of the best in NC- check the reports on Providence Spring Elementary, Jay M Robinson Middle, and Providence High School.
