A number of my past clients got interviewed as did I. As an added bonus, one of my listings and my website got listed as well. The popularity of vacation homes continues to be strong, despite cooling markets in other parts of the country. I expect a few more folks will be drawn to the area after this article.

Well someone else out in the wide world had a comment. The Columbian newspaper put this in their "Cheers and Jeers" section. It got a jeer.

I'm not sure that the Times let the cat out of the bag. The market here has been booming with second home buyers for years and the Times is just reporting the news.

Well, this answers my question about whether your area is a booming second home destination. I could see it. Winter home in AZ, summer home in Leavenworth, WA. Do you have more winter or summer visitors?

I would say we get more summer visitors, but the Christmas activity around Leavenworth is HUGE. A + E network named Leavenworth "Holiday Town USA."
