Well Trulia seems to be taking off with a ton of new agents all of the sudden - Windermere partnered up with Trulia to give their agents more online exposure as far as I can tell.  It used to be a relatively lonely place even in the recent months since I discovered the site, but questions are getting answered left and right now - even the many months old questions.

I think this is great and really gives us a nice opportunity to help the consumer through any confusions they might have about real estate.  It is so important, though, to not "pimp" yourself out in those Q&A areas - I am seeing a lot of newer agents going on there and asking a leading question just to answer it themselves.  I would hate to have a consumer get turned off by something that is a great idea and a good tool for us as well because they are seeing self love sales pitches...

What do you guys think?  Have you checked out Trulia and answered some questions about real estate in your part of town?

most of the time the questions aren't in this area. I wish we had more!

Hi Chris - there is also a section on there where you can write a guide about your area.  I haven't done it yet, but it looks kind of cool...

I haven't looked lately, but hopefully they answer them better than they do/did here.  I would hate to be getting a CA question and some agent in Montana answers saying "I don't know", and another one from Idaho actually gives them an answer....that is completely wrong for here.  So, my point is answering isn't the key, proper protocol for answering is better :)

Hi Courtney....I see they have grown a lot, I wrote them last Fall, they are coming to Canada, but have not made it yet. It good PR to address consumers questions, if you do not know the answer say so, and say you'll try an find out or refer them to where they can get help,

Cheers, have a great day!
