March 17th is the Official Day!

This much anticipated day is rapidly approaching.  Bankers Funding Company (an affiliate of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and First Team Estates) will be one of the first National Lenders to offer the new loan limits.  New applications can be submitted, starting Monday, March 17th.  This is super exciting news for buyers and owners looking to refinance!

The new FHA and conforming loan limits for Orange County are $729,750 for 1 unit homes.

Even more exciting are the new FHA loan limits for 2, 3, and 4 unit properties that will be owner occupied.

  • 1 Unit Home - $729,750
  • 2 Unit Home - $934,200
  • 3 Unit Home - $1,129,250
  • 4 Unit Home - $1,403,400

Underwriting guidelines for FHA loans are more liberal than conforming conventional loans.  3% down payments and bruised credit are fully insured by the United States Government.  This will give the Orange County Real Estate market a lift and the lower rates & expanded guidelines will push buyers into the market.

What does this mean to you?

All Buyers and prospective refinance homeowners should begin organizing their documents.  The banks are going to be really busy.  Wells Fargo is THE ONLY Triple A rated mortgage bank in the country.  They are here to stay!  Bankers Funding and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage are committed to providing you expert advice, reliable (on time) funding and highly competetive interest rates.
