This information is about trout fishing on the Brule and I can not wait so I will write about it. The Brule River flows north from its meager beginnings on the continental devide only 30 miles until it dumps into Lake Superior. My office is about 1/2 way to the big lake in Brule, Wi, the River flows about 600' from my office but I do not mind, the Little Brule flows 40 feet from my office and the trout fishing is better in my river and my land. The opening of Trout season is eagerly awaited in this in this berg by locals and cabin residents who come to the river just to make sure it is still there. Even though the canoes are still at rest at the rental place, the local Kro Bar fishing hole hangout is talking about Brett Farve retiring mixed with trout fishing but in a week it will be straight talking on fishing the Brule, the old church still has fisherman coming on Sunday the magic of trout fishing is coming.
