Has anyone advertised with them?????

I met with a rep yesterday who showed me hits (clicks) of approx. 1000/mo. which doesn't impress me.  That is for our entire metro area.

No individual website.  Not many feeds.  Some Google-friendly SEO.  About $200/mo.

I don't see the value but as usual, will defer to my AR peeps.  They are on AOL as a main search vehicle.

This does not include any paper advertising.  Remember "the real yellow pages"???????

Does anyone even look at those anymore????  I know I recycle mine!!!!

I get more than 1000 hits/mo. on AR.  Am I missing someting????

Thanks for the post.  Me and my business parter are meeting with Yellow Pages rep tomorrow....not sure what to think of it.  I know a Loan Officer who signed up for it and thinks it will be great...I guess they have a good tracking system to see how it works...I don't want to sign up but I did not want to judge it with out really knowing about it so I will find out tomorrow.

I work with agents that are on both sides of the fence.  Some of them love it...some hate it.  It boils down to how well you work with your clients.  If you work it, it will work out for you.

I did advertise with them and YellowBook.com. I personally felt that you get more bang for your bucks by using google adwords.  That is basically what they do also. They also give you a spot on yellowpages.com and yellowbook actually put you in the hard copy of the book in one area.  If I remember correctly they charged 200 for 90 guaranteed hits.  For ninety hits on google ads I could pay as little as 65 dollars or even 90 dollars

They are one of my competitors and they are not bad.   I think that is a bit excessive, I would recommend the online directory because a lot of people use the online directory.  you have to watch with the SEO packages though from companies, a lot of them will give you bogus traffic from second and third tier search engines that you would never even know existed.   $1,000 can be used for a lot of different things, I would diversify and try to explore every option.
