DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME...Time To Change Your Clocks and Other Device Batteries

Most people will trade an hour's sleep this weekend for more sunlight in the evenings.

Officially the change should be made at 2 a.m. Sunday, local time, though most folks will reset their clocks and watches before going to bed.

The shift to daylight saving time also serves as a reminder to install new batteries in warning devices like smoke detectors and hazard warning radios.

In areas that observe daylight time, standard time will return on Nov. 2.

Some parts of the country don't observe daylight time. Those include Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.

Hey Carl,  Thanks for the reminder.  I have to remember to buy batteries for the smoke detectors tomorrow and get them replaced.

I'm sitting here reading and nibbling on M & M's!!!!

Judi - I'm sure you are very organized and would not forget to "spring" your clocks forward.

As for the M&M's, I wish I had some. Ceil purchased some fig newton's, they are OK, but rather have some M&M"s. I can't wait for Easter so I can get into the grandkids candy.

I'm going to answer a few more comments, finish my report and try to watch the Spurs game. I think they play again tonite. Had a pretty busy week and looking forward to maybe having the rest of the weekend off. I have my Honey Do list to tend too.

Carl,  I'm enjoying those M & M's you had hidden in the gift bag yesterday.  Thank You!!!  It was so nice having lunch and visiting with Ceil.

Normally I am organized but the time change slipped up on me this month.  It's been a busy month -- I got 2 new listings this week.  Have another presentation to do tomorrow morn.  Then, showing properties on Sunday afternoon.  Yep, we're going to watch the Spurs game tonight too.
