How comfortable are you with money?

It's a funny thing.  You can always tell the people who are comfortable with money by the way they speak about it.  If you are a Realtor that would like to start representing buyer & seller clients in the higher end homes and properties in your area, and you have to gasp when you say, "it is being offer at $2.500,000" or you have to take a pause when a client tells you that their budget is $1,800,000 for their new home, you need TO GET OVER IT QUICKLY!

You may never be able to buy one of these properties yourself, but your clients need to know that you are confident enough in yourself and your skills as a Realtor to be able to properly represent them!  The amount of work you do to buy a high-end home for a client is the same as the amount of work to buy an average priced home.  They are just numbers!

Do you want to get into that market?  It's Easy.  Start by attending every open-house in the area.  Learn everything you can about it.  Alway know where the new listings are.  TALK to other Realtors at the open houses you attend and low and behold, a passer-by will ask you about the area, BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS WEAR YOUR REALTOR PIN AND NAME TAG and there you go!  You may know more than the Realtors that have the listings in the area and surely know enough to chat about the homes in that area with home buyers and sellers.

I hope you will be the Top Producing Agent in YOUR Company This Year!  MAKE IT A GREAT ONE!

Cheers-

I would love to & plan to work in that market. I can see me now excusing myself to the facilities after hearing those kind of numbers for the first time. Talk about excitement!

Very good advice. You cannot let these big numbers bother you or let your clients know you are not comfortable working in those price points.

Thanks Canton and Dwayne.  Eugene, I might suggest that you role play the scene until you don't have to run off to the, very nice how you said it, facilities!

Cheers-
