Creating a Graph - Just Go to Google and Type in CREATE A GRAPH!!!

Several of our Active Rainers have shared how to do a simple graph. Going to google and typing in "create a graph" took me to several options and I selected the Kids Zone how to. Pretty simple, actually. I opted for the pie chart, but may get more creative down the road. I'll bet some of you know how to do this stuff.

Rather than just showing numbers, I wanted to draw a picture to show how our real estate market is doing as of today, March 7, 2008!!! I've included everything "sold" since January 1, 2008 and everything currently pending and everything under contract with a contingency. In Arizona - under contract with a contingency can mean: the sellers have asked it to be in the MLS that way until it closes - "just in case" - and another scenario could be that the sellers have agreed to allow the buyers time to sell their current listing either here in the Phoenix area or elsewhere.

Maybe some of you know how to do this better. I'd love to know how if you've got something to share!! It needs to be kinda easy!! ;-)

Teri, Thanks for sharing how to create a graph. Your active with contingency sounds like our pending still show; although they rarely get shown.

Marchel, in this market the AWC don't get shown. There are too many others that are ready to go - now!! or should I say - yesterday?

This is the last thing I feel I need to learn to be really effective with my localism posts. I am so impressed with those here that can use the pie charts, graphs, etc. I will head on over to google to spend some time learning this! Thanks....

Mike, that sounds great. There are several, so check out which ones work best for you. Not hard to learn at all, and all sorts of tweaks you can do.

Teri- I love this! I wish I had been here earlier so I could have flagged it for a feature. This is excellent! I have been trying to find a great way to do graphs and I love pie charts to visualize things. Thanks.

Katerina, I love graphs and especially pie charts. I think Ardell did one about graphs a year or so ago. I cannot believe I am helping you! Yeah!!!

And, my dear, about the feature? Forget it!! It's okay....I still haven't gotten back to everyone on the last one. ;-)
