Remember To Spring Those Clocks Forward

Honestly, it feels like we just changed our clocks and got to enjoy that extra hour of sleep.

Wait -- who am I kidding?!  I have an 11 month old, and he has not yet acquired an appreciation for that extra hour like we clockadults have!

But here it is again -- the dreaded time in which we all forward our clocks before we go to bed and sacrifice one hour of our beauty sleep.

I will admit that I'm glad they have lengthened the time between setting your clocks ahead and rolling them back.  I really love having the extra daylight when the fall rolls around.  And this year it will be lighter in the evening sooner than in years past.  I think I heard that sunset on Monday here in Charleston will be around 7:20pm, making extra time to enjoy all of those outdoor activities!

So tomorrow night, make sure that you have forwarded at least your alarm so that you won't be late if you have somewhere to be Sunday morning.  I'm sure there will be a few empty seats in church this Sunday for early services -- maybe they can make a later service :)

Yep, it does seem like just yesterday we set the clocks back!  I'm thrilled to "spring forward".  ANYTHING that's a sign of warmer weather is cool with me!

Thanks for the reminder.  I always wish we never had to back to setting those clocks back in the fall.  Maybe things will change someday.

Jim & Maria~ I'm with you on this one. It does seem like we just changed out clocks. The one thing I do love is having more daylight. Just a side question-How did you get the borders around your blog post? The appearance looks great.

Antoinette: I'm with you!  I'm ready for the warmer weather, just not the 100 degree days!

Diane: I do hope they change in the future.  I know there are a couple states that don't observe daylight savings time, and they get by just fine.  We can always hope to join them.

Julie: Having more daylight is a wonderful thing.  And thanks for the comment about the border.  I just sent you an email about it.
