Guess which Java Giant is coming to Waynesville, NC!

By

Last week I walked into Ingles Grocery Store in Waynesville (off of Russ Avenue) and was shocked to find a big sign, and a designated “future Starbucks area,” loudly announcing the imminent arrival of Starbucks. For those who think Waynesville, NC is not going to be a progressive town with a delicious small-town flavor… here’s your sign!

Susie,

Encourage all your friends and customers and clients to go there often, The stock prices need the boost because I've lost money on that one this year.

Waynesville is getting to be "uptown".

Keep up your good work on keeping your readers informed about your market.

No Way! I don't think that will ever happen in Boone. We have a bunch of great local places as well as a Panera Bread, but Starbucks is a tasty treat every once in a while.

Hi Don, thank you for visiting.  We might need to have a stand-alone Starbucks to make up the losses.  (P.S.  Thank you for the kind words.)

Hi Sherry, we might not have had a Starbucks until now, but I sure knew where the Starbucks coffee ice cream was in Ingles.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Meris, we are starting out with a 'baby' Starbucks first, but that's better than no Starbucks.   Thank you for visiting.
