Advanced Access Users Only - Tips for Optimizing your File Manager for 4.0 Users

HI there - I had an excellent customer support representative this morning who helped me with my file manager. I always ask for the feedback form so I can share the excellent feedback with Advanced Access.

Since there is a new file manager - here are some tips to help:

1. When you upload files, make sure they have already been resized. With the new file manager - each picture is being uploaded so the length of time it takes to upload each individual photo can take a longer period of time. With the previous file manager - I used to upload them full size and then resize once inside the file manager - no longer for me!

2. Upload photos to different folders in the file manager so they are not only in the "my files" folder - because remember the file manager is loading each individual photo.

3. If you have any files that  are very large - when you open your virtual office - click on file manager to ooen that area. Then there is a button at the top that will just save the files so it does not take as long in lieu of the thumbnails for each photo.

This helped me tremendously today . . .
