Waiohinu Hawaii Kau Big Island South End Mark Twain Tree

This is the place Mark Twain planted that famous Monkey Pod tree. Although the property, once called Mark Twain Square, is owned privately you can still feel the history when you stop to look at the tree grown from a sprout of the original destroyed in 1957.
Location: Between mile marker 65 & 66 ... next to Waiohinu Park
