It's not about the market it's about the mindset.

I heard some very powerful stuff at an accountability group we have at our office. One of the top agents in our office was talking about what happens to the market does not even affect him because his mindset is that he trusts his process. If he does the things that he knows brings him business and he does it consistently his numbers are consistent year after year regardless of the market conditions. If you have the mindset that the market is crummy and you are not going to get any results guess what that is what happens. This was a great moment for me I had lights and bells going off in my head. Of course there is a forecast of over 450 thousand homes sold this year in California all I need is about 36 and I will have had my best year yet. I just need a drop of that bucket so crummy market or not I see an opportunity to have the best year of my career. The market has little effect over my business, my mindset determines my business.

You have to percieve what you see GOD showing you...not what others have to say......

People can be a snare if you let THEM guide you........;-D

Thanks I think this is going to make my business boom.  We hold ourselves back and to break free of that is the best feeling.  Alexander have you readthe secrets of the millionaire mind by T Harv Ecker?  If not it is awsome.

Orville,  great topic!  We cannot dwell on the gossip around the drinking fountain.  Business can boom even in the worst of markets.  We all must evaluate our business models frequently and make sure we know what is working and what isn't.  Here's an old expression I've used for years "The phone won't ring if the sun never shines on your face".  In other words, get out and generate some action.  It can get aweful quiet sitting by the phone waiting for it to ring!

Orville,

Great topic! One I've been thinking about alot lately! having the mindset of completely trusting in God. He is Jehovah Jireh - our Provider. He will provide the business. The door is open before us...we just have to do our part and walk through. I've been doing quite of bit of studying on not being double minded, not wavering.

We must encourage ourselves in The Lord, just as David did. The Greater One lives in us. God always leads us in victory!

I will meet my business goal this year!!

Be Blessed!
