As much as I love to have an additional hour of sunlight every afternoon, I do hate to lose thar hour of sleep doing the "spring forward" thing.

Tomorrow, I'm really going to miss it - unless, of course, I forego Satureday Night Live tonight.  I must get up early in the moring to drive to Baltimore for my brother's birthday celebration.  Yawn!

But then next week, I'll be able to get in a few after work showing appointments with the extra daylight.  That should compensate.

Rationally, I know that it shouldn't take much to adjust to, in effect, getting up an extra hour early one day of the year.  But I have a really hard time in the morning - even though it's only one hour one night, it seems to be one hour every night.   I guess moving to Kansas would make up for it.

I'm a morning person myself, anyway, so the extra hour won't bother me that much.  I like the extra daylight but I would have been fine if they [Congress] left well enough alone.  They can't keep their hands out of anything - even the natural rhythms  of the universe.

Patricia -- I have losing the hour -- however, I love having that extra daylight !  I feel like I still have time to get things done and spring is on the way when we spring forward.

I'm just going to sleep in and enjoy the extra daylight!  It's almost Spring and I am doing my Happy Dance!

Pat, just to be sure, I e-mailed my clients last night about the time change to make sure that when I show up today at 11 a.m. they are not still in their pajamas.

Leave it to a sibling to have a birthday party the day OF "lose an hour of sleep!" day.  Gotta love 'em!

Have a fun fun time Patrica.

I am glad to know I am not the only one that didnt want to lose that hour of sleep!  Especially on a cold windy morning like this!

I'm loving the extra hour already (as I write this) and I am not a morning person. I always said in my last life I must have lived in a different time-zone as I would function well on Hawaii time...but then, maybe I would function well in Hawaii, no matter what time of day it was!

Pat - Hopefully you "tivo-ed" SNL... that way you get to sleep and see it later. Sleep well, my dear.

Hope you didn't miss that first segment on Saturday Night Live.  It was pretty funny!
