Me too Jo, why did you say that, Ron? Is it perhaps because of the direction directories are generally going?

Great Michael - let me know what you think - looks great to me. I don't usually get on the band wagon, but thought looks fine, what's the harm in a little more link pop?

I've gotten a bunch of those as well!  I joined with the first one that sent the email and have been adding content this evening.  We'll see what the outcome is!

Qassia is kind of confusing to me.  We'll so was active rain at first, but hey I guess I'll give it another go.

Deborah, I am amazed at the response to this site...I got several invitations from AR members to join...I"m guessing the incentives are creating quite a buzz but I wonder when that is past how much we will use it?  Keep us updated on what you think as I haven't done anything other than join and create a profile.

Deborah - I received an email from someone inviting me, I opened it, but haven't done anything with it yet.  I guess i am a little nervous at first.  Thanks for verifying it is a good thing.

Ryan - Qassia is more of an article directory, a great new way really to get more link pop going, pointing to your site.

Hello Diane - if that's is all you want to do, it will still benefit you. Howvere, just as with Active Rain, the more articles you post the more benefits. There are also free advertising benefits among others.

Debbie - it is worth at least setting up a profile for the inward pointing link(s) to your site. There are several incentives and it is a very quickly growing site.

Candy - I cannot see that it would be harmful or negative in any way. I too am cautious also, but can only see that it benefits link popularity.

Carole - This would benefit your business and your site, with another source for uploading articles - nit interactive like here at AR.

Thanks for the insight, and questions and possible answers.  Is it worth a try?  Probably can't hurt, well time will tell. 

Hey Marlene - This is really an article site; a good opportunity to increase link pop for your site by uploading articles and unlimited sites and links. There are incentives for free advetising and also Google ads. If all you do is upload profile & weblink, it's a good thing.

Terrilynn - It is at least beneficial for link popularity to your site and hence your business. There are other incentives you may or may not wish to bother with.

I think there are some real estate agent haters on there. A couple of my "intels" received some harsh comments because they thought I was self promoting. I had no promotion in them. The only promotion would be the assigned qassia signature. Weird.

Ross - glad you're onto the Qassia site - I think it is good SEO and link pop.

Jo - that's too bad - I have actually rated some of your articles on Qassia & thought they were exceptionally good - well organized and presented. Not everyone is interested in real estate. I haven't submitted much yet, but there are some that are blatant product ads!

(Remember me?)  I did sign up there as well just to see what some of the buzz was.  I added one site.  I did a Google check to see who was linking to that site and Qassia did show up.  I'm a bit concerned about sites that brag about being a great place to get links to your site as sooner or later, Google catches on and frown upon it.  Guess we'll wait and see.

I certainly do remember you Martib - I am curious to know why you think I would not! It appears there are many such 'articling' sites springing up everywhere! Yes you do just have to wonder what will happen.
