Relocation Package Help

We are putting together a relocation package ourselves right now.  I would not put it on CD - don't assume that everyone is computer savvy, or has access to a computer.  A local non-profit puts together a 1" thick package with brochures from local sites, activities, area tourism brochures, maps, places of interest, list of things you'll need when you move (utilities etc..).  Put items in nice pocket folder with your information on the front.  Good luck.

I tend to make up relo packets more specific to the persons needs.  If they have children I will include school information, and if they are seniors, perhaps some of the senior services and events in that area. If you have a specific city they want to live in, go to the chamber of commerce, city hall, police departments, they all usually have material for people coming into the community.

I still gather materials and snail mail them.  It's also nice if they are traveling to get to your city to have something to read in the car.
