Hang Low If You Are Looking To Ruin The Roof

Here is a case where the various service wires to the home were not sufficiently above the roof. The electric service wires were slightly above the roof but the wires to the cable to the right obviously did some real rocking during strong winds. And, as I recall, the electric line was slack enough that, if the wind got to blowing, it too would rub on the roof. So, basically, here you have a roof that might rub the insulation of the electric wires and off any phone or cable service that is routed too low over the roof. Then, to get even, the wires wreck the roofing. Since people seldom go up on the roof, they do not see things like this. There should be about a foot and a half of clearance, certainly on the electric service lines, where they attach to the mast.

Thanks for looking.
