Wow! Beggining Friday, March 7th..the snow storm of 2008 hit our area in Lorain County, Ohio. By Saturday night, snow accumulation had reached 18.5 inches, with areas of drifting snow that was even at 3 feet. I had to cancel my Sunday, Open House. It was a rural home, in Grafton, with a long driveway in great need of getting plowed. Plus received numerous calls from other agents cancelling showing appts on many of my listings, no one seemed to want to go out in this stuff, don't blame them one bit. The whole weekend was pretty much at a standstill, including Sunday, where I was still getting cancellation notices. Today, looks like the weather will be kinder, with no more snow coming down. At least, my time wasn't wasted. I couldn't go out, forced to stay inside. Got much catch up work completed with my real estate files & making calls. Even was able to figure out how to post my listings here, on ActiveRain. I'm excited to be learning more techniques with this blog at ActiveRain. See Photos below, one is of my backyard patio, the other is my husband working on clearing the drive and finding our vehichles!
