Mortgage BPO. Mortgage companies are increasingly using Real Estate agents to perform Mortgage BPO orders. Majority of mortgage BPO s are drive by bpos. But its becoming very common for agents to do interior Mortgage BPO. They require a little more work but usually agent get paid more.

I have been doing drive by BPO's for one company for about seven years.  They are simple and an easy source of money.  The bank I do them for is very easy to work with.  They send me about 20 a month and pay me on the first day of the month like clock work.

Thanks for the list, Alex!  I know that many will find this useful as there have been alot of people asking who to call to be put on a "list".

JUST STAY AWAY FROM EVALUATION SOLUTIONS TO AVOID NON-PAYMENT OF YOUR BPO's ESPECIALLY NOW THAT GASOLINE IS VERY EXPENSIVE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT TO SPEND ABOUT 3 TO 4 HOURS AND EXPECT A PAYMENT OF $45 WHICH YOU WILL NOT GET.

Thanks for the warning about Evaluation Solutions.  What we do not need is another company that is not paying.  This is a good post.  Thanks

UPDATE: Old Republic Default is now only paying $35 per BPO - Exterior and the usual for interior.  They rolled back their price -- and feel it is OK to do so.

This is funny. Evil Solutions (Evaluation Solutions) pays like crap and yet so many of you still work for them. I did ONE BPO for these idiots and didn't get paid for five months after I turned down a bunch of orders on the phone, blanket emails to agents in my area that do work for them and a few other tactics. It's not worth my time to chase $50 with these morons. There are plenty of other companies that pay without follow up at all. I choose to work for companies that pay me without badgering and threatening.

Keep working for them. While you're busy chasing money with these jerks I'll be at the bank cashing checks for other companies BPOs.

Evalution Solutions does pay but you have to make sure you continually follow up with their accounting department. My BPO's were all paid after I emailed their accounting department and got my final check in 10 days. But I don't want to do BPO's and at the same time spend effort in following up for my payment. Otherwise their QC department is good and no complain.

When it comes to getting started in the BPO/REO business there is a lot of good resources online and lots of not so good too. What I can share with you is that when all hell broke loose in 06 and when I couldn't seem to sell a home (I am in Las Vegas and we got hit real hard!) I made a lot of money doing BPO's. In my biggest month I made as much as $5,000 and regularly earned at least $2,000 per month. I knew nothing about BPO but came across this excellent resource:  Reokit.com  It saved my career!

Much success to you!
