February was not the best month for sales. We are still gearing up for the Spring home buying season. As soon as the weather warms up, I think we will see more sales. On a positive note, daylight savings time is now about 3 weeks earlier then normal, I think more buyers will get out and drive by homes in the evening. I still think the threat of a recession hovers over the country. One thing about the Midwest/Omaha area is our economy is pretty stable versus other larger metropolitan areas. I continue to believe there are a couple of wild cards for this year's real estate market will be how election year politics and the threat of $4 gas have on home buyers? If you're considering selling a home, I would appreciate the opportunity to market your home.
