Exit Realty is Growing!

By
Industry Observer with Living in the Pacific

EXIT REALTY IS #1 "NEW" NATIONAL FRANCHISE BRAND: According to the 2007 edition of the Swanepoel Trends Report, EXIT Realty is ranked as the leading "New" National Real Estate Franchise brand, ahead of Help-U-Sell, Weichert Realtors, Sotheby's Real Estate and Avalar.

Exit Billboard Houston

Founded in 1996 in Ontario, Canada by Steve Morris, EXIT Realty entered the USA only six years ago.  Steve was named one of REALTOR Magazines's Top 25 Most Influential Real Estate Thought Leaders. Today with over 1,240 franchisees and 46,000 agents, EXIT has become one of the 10 largest real estate companies in Northern America.  Exit Realty was recognized as the #1 New National Real Estate Franchise Brand in the 2007 edition of Swanepoel Trends Report.  The 159 page Swanepoel Trends Report for 2007 provides a thorough examination of the top 10 trends shaping the industry, its participants and the way houses are bought and sold.  According to the Report more than 55% of all real estate transactions are done through a real estate company affiliated with one of the 20 national real estate franchises.

Swanepoel also noted that "similar to the way RE/MAX reshaped real estate brokerage in the 70s and 80s, it appears that EXIT is ordained to re-engineer the real estate broker/agent relationship during the first decade or two of the 21st century."

Post update 4/27/2008: Randy Landis, Broker, GRI, CFS of Tupelo, MS has purchased and opened Exit Realty Premier.  Our recruiter has been hired and we are now in the process of growing.  We are currently interviewing and hiring qualified and experienced agents.  Agents interested in finding out more about the EXIT business model should contact Randy Landis at (662) 842-7653 or visit http://www.exitrealty.com .

I started my real estate career at an Exit office, but it was because of the broker, not residual income. You say you are pusuing an Exit franchise opportunity. Best luck in your endeavours.

Best of luck to you.  Personally, there just isn't anything better than the original model in real estate residual, Keller Williams but because of more than the residual...it's the culture.

Win-Win or no deal

Integrity--do the right thing

Commitment--in ALL things

Communication--Seek first to understand

Creativity--Ideas before results

Customers--ALWAYS come first

Teamwork-- Together Everyone Acheives More

Trust-- Starts with HONESTY

Success-- Result through people

Mission--To build careers worth having, businesses worth owning and LIVES worth living.

(and that's the reason that Keller Williams is the fastest growing and just moved into the 4th largest real estate company in North America!)

What can I say, I'm biased.  We had an EXIT franchise that tried to open up here in Katy but they never even moved into their building once they got the sign up.  Also had another franchise, ERA Pathfinder, that is reported to be closing it's doors sometime this month.

Actually, I looked at several models including KW.  The truth is that KW is not a residual income model, it is a profit sharing model.  Profit share is a possibility, Revenue sharing is a reality!  I've heard the stories about the $6 profit share checks.

Yep...some months it could be that low.  Our office has failed to be profitable only once in it's 10 year existence.  I've seen checks as high has 15,000 in a month for profit sharing though too...

If the offices of Exit are not PROFITABLE, there will be no REVENUE to share though...just something to keep in mind.  I had a friend in Alabama that found that out too as he REVENUE shared his way into a bankruptcy somehow (not sure of all the factors, just the end result).

Good luck to ya though regardless of what you do!

Helping people is my business in Real Estate

Profit sharing model is clearly a pipe dream.  Coming from that model to a revenue sharing model is like dreamland to reality.

Love the revenue sharing.  Do the work once and get paid over and over and over again.

I'm a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and I decided not to go into the traditional civil service or contractor positions but I knew I wanted to help my fellow service members in my 2nd carreer. I became an Exit Realty agent just outside the MacDil AFB Gate and discovered my passion--assisting  military personnel in finding their dream home or selling  their pre-existing home while PCSing.  In 3-years I was able to garner the #2 Saleman out of 185 brokerage firms in Florida.  If you have anybody in the Greater Tampa proper (Clearwater, St Petersburg, Lithia, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Wesley Chapel) then please have contact me at www.dennisjonesproperties.com or e-mail at 06denn@gmail.com.  813 546-3854.
