I did it!!

Well, I did it!! I finished the 2008 Gate River Run in Jacksonville, FL! 15K, 9.3 miles over 2 bridges in 40 mile an hour winds. It was tough, but I was determined. My goal was to finish in less than 2 hours (my average 5K finish is 31 minutes). I finished in 1 hour and 50 minutes. This was, to date, my longest run and I was pleased with my results.

Now back to work... which I've also been busy with. The listings are coming in and I've been contacted by a few buyers, so steady is good.

We had a tornado touch down here in Lake City last Friday which did some considerable damage to both, homes and businesses, which we are recovering from.

Good for you, that is quite an accomplishment, especially considering the weather. So what is the next goal?

My next scheduled race is the Cooper River Bridge run in Charleston, SC. It is a 10K.
