New Hampshire Winter Village Scene

Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall
- New Hampshire Has It ALL!!  Everyone knows about the winter sports that abound in New Hampshire, and we've got plenty of that, now that we have some snow and colder weather.  We also have lots of other fun stuff going on around the state, too.

February

Feb 10th - Family Mardi Gras Celebration - Portsmouth.
Feb 10th - Winterfest - Downtown Laconia.
Feb 10th - Winter Carnival Dance - Newport.
Feb 11th - Hearts of Jackson Inn Tour - Jackson.
Feb 14th - Valentine's 2 for 1 Ski Day - Wildcat Mountain.

Here are some great events that run over several days:

Feb 15-17th  - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum - Keene.

Feb 21-25th  - The Greek Trilogy Project - Durham.
Feb 23 - Mar 11 - Seussical the Musical - Portsmouth.
Feb 24 - Mar 3rd - Mt. Washington Valley Winter Carnival - North Conway to Bretton Woods.

As you can see, we have plenty of fun things to do all over the state - New Hampshire is a great state to live in, Winter View in Fieldsand my favorite part of NH is Portsmouth and the Seacoast areas.  Of course, I'm a bit partial to that area since I live in Portsmouth and just love the Seacoast area.  We're right along the coast, and even though NH displays beauty everywhere you look, it doesn't get any better than life right here in Portsmouth!

Welcome to our great state - enjoy your visit - make New Hampshire your HOME!!!  You'll LOVE IT HERE!!

Monika - I had this running around in my mind for awhile, and finally just say down to put it together.  It took a bit to get all that info, but it was fun learning about some of the stuff going on around the state.

TLW - thank YOU for commenting!!!  Nope, there's something going on all the time up here in New Hampshire, even when it's really cold!!  ;-)

Thanks Monika & TLW for reading and commenting - very much appreciated!!!

I love the ice skating scenes from New England.  The only thing ponds or rivers around here offer is slush.

Lenn - Yeah, slush just doesn't cut it when it comes to ice skating, that's for sure!  I was riding around today between appointments, and saw several ponds and homemade skating areas with people ice skating.  And it really did remind of the graphic I used above.

Hi Gena - thanks for stopping by!  Although I've never been to THE Mardi Gras, they put on pretty good Mardi Gras festivities up here!  I've been to several of those, and they are FUN!
