Camp Lejeune Spouse Support

One of the biggest challenges for spouses of servicemen and women is finding a new job in a new town/area with no Moving to Jacksonville NC contacts while

moving into a new home and neighborhood

locating a childcare facility

setting up new accounts with local utility companies... JONES ONSLOW Electric, ONWASA
settling the kids into a new school.....Onslow County Schools, Onslow County Private schools
setting up new banking accounts....List of local banks and locations
shopping in a new grocery store
finding and settling into a new house of worship....Swansboro NC Churches
locating and establishing relationship with new local businesses and services--where to get the oil changed, car repaired, etc.

Camp Lejeune Spouse jobs No matter how much experience and/or education one may have, changing jobs every 3 or 4 years is difficult and stressful.

Good news for military spouses, there is a resource available that you may not be aware of. It is the Military Spouse Career Center. Here you can search for jobs in specific areas in specific career fields and even get a certified career coach. There is no charge for this service and it is available to all spouses of military personnel.

Cynthia, great resources. The Military Spouse Resource Center is a great tool for military spouses.

Hi Cynthia, this is great...I brought my family to Ft. Benning after Vietnam and service to help families like this did not exist. A very helpful post...the link should be on every agents website. Nice Cynthia.

Cynthia ~ I grew up near Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, and the military life no doubt can be stressful. By the time one is settled and is making friends in one location, it's often time to pick up roots and move again. I am so glad that these women and men have chosen to serve - and we must do what we can to help them Good job! You are always providing great resources.
