Sometimes in life, we're in a hurry to make things happen. We want things NOW!

In early 2000 to 2001, I had quite a bit of stress in my life and decided to sign up for a class through Duke Integrative Medicine called Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which forever changed how I view my life and existence in the World.

One Saturday, we had an all-day meditation, and I will never forget what one of the meditation leaders said:

It is what it is.

It ain't what it ain't.

The only way through it - is through it.

And it'll take as long as it takes.

 

So...why not be patient?

Cynthia ~ This quote is a constant reminder to me that things are what they are. We're sometimes inpatient and want everything now - but it will, indeed, take as long as it takes!
