For those of you who have read my blog the Woman of Steel you know what has been going on here in the Boney household. My wife is still in a good deal of pain, but has remained reasonably optimistic about the whole experience. However, she is a little frustrated that she can't really do anything and she's more than ready to go back to work.

 She does get up and walk around the house. The doctor has told us that the sooner she gets up and moves around the better, and she has taken this to heart. Most of her pain is in her siatic nerve, that was already pinched before the surgery, and now the swelling doesn't seem to help much.

 In the past few days, she has said that her leg has begun to feel better. Now, instead of constant pain, she says it only hurts when she is moving around. So, for now things seem to be improving for her. She had a follow up appointment with the doctor this past Thursday, and he says that everything is going well and she is fine so far. So, for now all we can do is wait and see what happens the rest of the way.

JL - glad to hear she is doing better. I saw my surgeon yesterday - my surgery was back last August so I know it's a long road.
