Nominate a home for the Crofton 50th Anniversary Holiday House Tour
Homes representing each decade since Hamilton Crawford developed Crofton in 1964 will be included in a Holiday House Tour on December 15. The Crofton Village Garden Club is currently checking out homes of members and others nominated for consideration.
If your home is located in the greater Crofton area and you'd like to nominate it for the house tour, the Crofton Village Garden Club would like to hear from you. Do you have a neighbor whose house is awesome? If you would like to nominate a neighbor's home, simply contact me through Activerain. I'm serving on the committee and will quickly follow-up.
What are we looking for? We're looking for homes that showcase the best of Crofton... homes in excellent condition (de-cluttered, clean, in good repair) with recent updates. If you live on a street with plenty of parking nearby for home tour visitors, that's a bonus.
This house tour is a holiday event, so we're also looking for homes that will be decorated for the holidays prior to December 15. If you have Christmas decorations collected around the world, unique doll collection, a fabulous train set, or anything that sets apart your holiday decorations from those on the shelves at Target, it will be a plus.
Don't procrastinate... we'll be finalizing the list of homes in September, so we need your nominations now.

P.S. Whenever you're ready to sell your home, it certainly wouldn't hurt to say "Featured on the Crofton 50th Anniversary Holiday House Tour." It might help to attract potential buyers to your home, so it sells more quickly and for more money.
