Nothing made me happier than to open today's Salt Lake Tribune and see this article about a Utah builder who is building Green Friendly homes that will pay you back!  Yes, they will pay you!  Not only that, he is building these homes for everyone!

These are not 750,000+ homes here.  We are talking homes with-in reach of most home-buyers and right here in UTAH!  Take a look at the article here

Hopefully I can get a hold of the builder and do a brief interview for a more detailed blog post at a later date.

What an interesting article!  Thank you, I am going to find out if there is something like this in Orlando.

Best of luck.

Andrew- That sounds like some great homes, with energy getting more expensive we need more builders doing the same thing.

EXCEPTIONAL! I'm glad to hear about more "green projects". I am caware and oncerned about our environment. I, too, have the opportunity to be associated with a "green" project in Walnut Creek, CA. We have about 15 urban condos to sell in a new complex. I am working on the internet marketing to attract buyers. The link you provided was helpful. Thanks.

COOL!  I hope more and more builders think this way around here.... Hopefully some in the Salt Lake and Summit County areas!

That's great, if you get any more info on the builder and the homes, I would love to hear about it!

Thanks.

Thanks all for the comments!

Jonelle - Most builders in Northern Utah want to build these homes at the high price ranges.  I don't think that anyone believes that homes in the 200,000 - 400,000 range will sell.  There is a truly a whole market of people waiting for these homes to be affordable.  Look what happened when the Prius arrived.

I have tried to reach the builder as I will be in St. George this weekend.  So hopefully I will get through.  His mailbox is full and everything is coming back.  I wonder why????

Hi Andrew - May I suggest you call Chris Hall also if you can't get ahold of this builder? Email me or do a search on AR to get Chris' number. We would love to do a phone conference with you! Good post! (again!)
