Follow up: Seattle Activerain Meetup August 2013

Wow, it’s been a week already! I just wanted to follow up and let y’all know how special our AR Meetup was. Timing is everything and I totally understood why those who were planning to be there couldn’t. My schedule has been ultra crazy busy too! But those of us that were there, had a blast!

We had so much fun and a big shout out to Katherine Gooding. She's new to Activerain and this was her first meet up and so much fun to playful! She totally gets our AR kind of “blow up the box” kind of  humor.

And I so appreciate my co-worker (AR member) Barbie Van Horn... She has a passion for and knows real estate inside and out, and takes it over the top as an expert with a passion for chocolate (which I would venture to guess, you may also)... Who doesn’t, right?

Then there’s “Charlie”, our own inspector blogger extraordinaire, Charles Buell. This is our 3rd co-hosting AR meetup together. I so love doing these with you Charlie and thanks. I love talking about writing with Charlie, we love real estate, what we do, and we both love writing. I always learn so much from him when he shares his insights and stories.

One of our big treats this day was Charlie sharing a few members of his family with us... they were in town so he brought them along. It was wonderful to meet granddaughter Molly, his daughter Julia, and his daughter in-law Leslie.

I met Steven Cook a while back in Pierce County but it was really nice to have the opportunity to hang out in person and Paul MCFadden, we’ve known each other now for several years and I always appreciate running into him at professional get togethers. We know so many of the same people. Congrats Paul on your new position with Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.

A great big giant shout has to go to the 14 Carrot Cafe. Thank you, thank you! You are always such a gracious hosts, you make sure we feel absolutely welcome and taken care of and your breakfast and service is always AWESOME and 2nd to none! Thank you! 

Then last but certainly not least... Thank you Kerrie La Guardia. You are always such a bright light. Your insights, engagement with AR members, and community vision are so much appreciated! Community is everything and I'm sincerely honored to be part of the Activerain ensemble of extreme talent.
