I have been a BAD AGENT. I am getting a call from Nationstar and Auction.com tomorrow for not wanting to cooperate with there short sale COLLUSION. This call is to take place around 11:00am PST. Anyone want to give me some darts to throw their way. I will be taping the call with their permission. If they do not allow me to tape it I will have my TC taking copious notes. I believe they will be giving me lots to blog about. Game onMe vs Auction.com & Nationstar

Hi Melissa,

I am pouring over the tasks and documents Auction.com has sent me. They even sent me a bunch of Auction.com signs they want me to put on the properties. (NOT)

Looks like I will have to bend to get these clients homes sold. Working on three at the present time and they have me stalled out on Equator.

I already have offers in place and do not feel this system will generate better offers, just a waste of time and energy.

Boy are they going to generate big bucks if they charge 5% to all the buyers that buy through their Auction.com site

We are seeing NationStar and Auction.com strong arming sellers into participating in the auction process after there is already an accepted offer on the short sale (offer in place for months waiting for approval). They threaten not to approve the short sale if the seller doesn't participate in Auction.com. This seems like extortion on the part of Auction.com who will receive 5% of the sales price from the buyer (added to final agreed sale price). Auction.com promises they have a short sale department and will handle everything - NOT! The listing agent still has to do all the work and Auction.com gets 5%.

I have heard this is happening with NationStar and Auction.com in other areas of the country. This is wrong. Some agents are calling NationStar's bluff and refusing to participate - their short sale is being approved.

I'm interested to hear the outcome of your transaction.

What a waste of time this whole Auction stuff was. It was pitched as a way to cut down the time of the short sale process. What did happen was zip nothing. No bids. lost two great buyers. Back to square one now that Auction .com is out of the way. What a big waste.
