So I have been back on the treadmill now for 4 weeks with a brief vacation break of a few days. Other than that it has been 6 days a week and I am up to 2.5 miles. My goal is 5 miles a day. Half way there. Yes, I have lost about 10 lbs so far and feel much better.
I am tring to lose a differnt kind of weight as well. The weight of stress. This kind of weight is much more difficult to lose. Having 2 jobs. serving as the CEO of a non profit and as Realtor in our community can take its toll. The vacation was much needed and gave me some time to re-calibrate and prioritize.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
