626 Night Market at Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia Labor Day Weekend 2013 Saturday/Sunday

Celebrate Labor Day Weekend 2013 in Arcadia as San Gabriel Valley and Southern California residents and visitors alike can experience the 626 Night Market at the Santa Anita Race Track.

This will be a great way to celebrate Labor Day Weekend, the last 626 Night Market of the Summer and of 2013.

The 626 Night Market is the largest Asian Night market in the United States and it is here again for the final time this summer and for the final event for 2013 on Saturday, August 31, 2013 and Sunday, September 1, 2013.

Located at the historic Santa Anita Race Track and Park, 285 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia in the Front Paddock Gardens. Use Gate 5 or 8 off Huntington Drive, Gate 8 off Baldwin Avenue On Saturday the market opens at 4PM and continues until 1AM and Sunday, September 1, 2013 the same hours: 4PM - 1AM. Admission is $2/person before 6PM, $3/person after 6PM - 12 or younger/FREE. Free Parking.

Night markets are quite popular in Asia with the primary focus on the many different types of Asian street food and merchandise. For those of you wondering why 626….626 refers to the primary area code within the San Gabriel Valley.

Sharon - I know -- time does fly by so quickly these days.

Laura - it's nice that the last 626 Night Market of the season and of 2013 is being held on a long holiday weekend. I'm sure when the sun goes down, the crowds will grow even larger and the celebration of good food, fun times and lots of people watching will be as impressive as previous efforts.

Erin - those of us who live in the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles County are very fortunate to have easy access to foods from around the world and especially from Asian countries. I'm getting a little(okay, a lot) hungry just thinking and writing this comment.
