A Monster Visits My Window

Grasshopper Monster

Along with the beautiful butterflies, we had a monster visit our garden this week. He seems to be wanting to come inside but I don’t think that’s going to happen. Doesn’t he look like something out of a 1950’s movie?

Grasshopper on window

Look at those skinny knees!

I bet he can leap tall buildings with a single bound!

I hope you have a monster-free day today.

Toni, hope this monster does not have a large family attacking your plants and flowers outside!

John - I could use Debbie here. I won't touch them either.

Kathy - they are rather huge :)

Joanna - it's a grasshopper and I have the plants to prove it.

Rich - that's what I was going for. I should have made it black and white.

Fred - you have the strangest tastes :)

Joan - not yet, but I'm sure they are coming soon to a plant near me.

Beth -eeek, that would make my heart jump around.

Kristin - I'll send you another one if you would like it ;)

Michele - it surely did. I wasn't about to open the window and let it in.

Thanks for sharing your photograph. I wonder if your monster does any damage to your flowers. You need a bigger monster that includes grasshoppers in its diet.

Did Shayna see it?  Our cats love to watch creatures of all kinds, and pounce.  LOL A

Erin - that might be a good place for him.

Alexandra - no, she was sleeping under our bed and we couldn't get her out. Her loss.
