The 19th Pocono Garlic Festival takes place this Labor Day Weekend in the Poconos (Aug. 31 to Sept.1,2013).

Pocono Garlic Festival The Festival is being held at Shawnee Mt. Ski area in Shawnee, PA from 10am to 6pm. Check out the website for The Pocono Garlic Festival for all the details and the fees.

This Festival has become so popular and so well loved you need to be sure you take the time to get there this weekend. It is an Annual tradition that grows in size every year.

Imagine tasting such unique items as Roasted Garlic Ice Cream and Garlic Funnel Cakes! Wow! Each year the creations just amaze you.

There will be more than food too. A full line-up of events is planned for the festival such as Entertainment, Petting Zoo, other children’s activities, local arts and crafts vendors and more.

Bring your coolers so you can be sure to take some extra goodies home with you!

Rich, Boy, I bet you can. It's something how when you walk past someone you can tell whether or not they had a lot of garlic for dinner the night before. They say the "ills" that garlic can fend off are numerous.

Will, I love my funnel cake too but like you, Garlic funnel cake does not appeal to me. There are so many fairs in the area right now, I could have funnel cake every night, if it wasn't so fattening!
