A good Real Estate Agent at a market leading powerhouse such as Coldwell Banker Tomlinson, gets really creative when it comes to closing gifts and such. I have some pretty amazing friends who have referred a lot of people to me who wanted a good agent and I wanted to get them something they might really enjoy. I finally got the perfect "ah-ha" moment and decided to get a bunch of fresh coffee direct from the roaster!
Roast House Coffee, is my favorite. Three years in business, and local, they get their beans direct from the farm. The beans are shade grown in the forest and picked by hand, so clear cutting forests and growing a very toxic crop such as coffee with pesticides and so forth is not even part of the equation. It's fair trade so the money for the beans goes direct to the farmer.
Each time I go to the roaster, I learn a little bit more about this amazing drink, and the process by which delicious flavor is attained. It's part art and mostly a lot of science. For instance, there's more than 3,500 chemical processes involved in coffee. With Wine making, your dealing with about 350.
The best part is they have made some very cool personalized labels for me and my friends and clients. You can't really tell in this picture, but it even has the name of the person on it who I'm taking it to. Best of all, it's delicious and from a local company who's passionate about doing good.
